Paul Brown Stadium is Premium Facility for Bengals Fans The Cincinnati Bengals have played at the Paul Brown Stadium since 2000. The team calls downtown Cincinnati home and offers fans a number of entertainment options around the stadium. Look at the Paul Brown Stadium seating chart for more detailed information about the seat options for Bengals home games. The stadium was named after the Hall of Fame coach and founder of the Cleveland Browns and the Bengals. The facility has been nicknamed "The Jungle" by fans. It is also the only football stadium to make the list of "America's favorite 150 buildings and structures" coming in at 101st place. The stadium was created with a futuristic design. In addition, the seating layout was done to maximize sight lines of the field. For the 2012 season the stadium had the UBU Sports' Speed Series S5-M synthetic turf installed. It is only the third field in the NFL to receive this high tech turf system. Visitors can use the Metro public transportation to travel to a game. Parking areas immediately around the stadium are sold out on a season basis. So, fans attending with single tickets should head to lots off of Third Street. Tailgating is permitted in all parking areas surrounding the stadium. Before a game, visitors will enjoy visiting the Jungle Zone. The area opens three hours before kickoff and is located near the Southeast corner on the Plaza. Fans do not need a game ticket to enter the Jungle Zone. Local bands play here before games. In addition, visitors can enjoy interactive games including the Bengals Field Goal Challenge and a Bengals inflatable obstacle course. Visitors should keep an eye out for the AT&T BZone photographers who take fan photos at a kiosk inside the stadium. The 50th photo taken at each home game is designated a winner. The guest receives two tickets to the Bengals next home game. During the game fans enjoy entertainment from the team's mascot, Who Dey. The Bengal tiger also makes appearance at the Taco Bell Family Zone in section 231. The nickname comes from a chant that originated during a 1980 game. Fans chanted "Who they think is going to beat them Bengals?" In addition, the cheerleading squad of the Cincinnati Ben-Gals also perform throughout the game. The squad has the distinction of having the oldest professional cheerleader in the NFL. Laura Vikmanis was 40 years old when she first made the squad in 2009. A favorite concession item for fans attending a Bengals game is the Cincinnati Hot Dog. It is topped with caramelized onions and mustard. Guests also enjoy foot long hot dogs with onions and peppers and Philly cheese steaks sandwiches throughout the stadium. Finally, Skyline chili is another top choice for visitors while attending a game. Single game tickets are available for purchase through the Bengals box office near Gate E. Tickets range in price from $55 to $88. Fans can also call the team's ticket hotline at 513-621-8383. The Bengals offer fans a lot of entertainment options on game day. The Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati is designed to give fans a great experience when attending a game. |
