About 'nfl football espn scores'-... guesses" this NFL year as well. My mock draft.... As the 2009 National Football League regular season comes... the highest-scoring quarterback for this fantasy football...

The               NFL               season               has               been               pretty               exciting               so               far,               with               a               number               of               surprises               heading               in               the               6th               week               of               play.

Teams               like               Cincinnati               (0-5)               and               Seattle               (1-3)               have               really               underperformed,               but               fans               of               Carolina               (4-1)               and               Washington               (4-1)               have               to               be               quite               happy               about               how               their               teams               are               doing.

Week               6               looks               to               have               a               number               of               interesting               games               lined               up,               the               most               promising               of               which               is               probably               the               NBC               Sunday               Night               game               of               San               Diego               hosting               New               England.

I               don't               believe               in               playing               it               safe               when               making               predictions,               and               this               will               be               the               first               of               many               weeks               were               we               break               down               the               weekly               NFL               games.
Here               are               the               games               and               predictions               for               Week               6               action:
               *Baltimore               (2-2)               at               Indianapolis               (2-2)
Though               Baltimore               has               been               looking               pretty               good               through               their               first               four               games,               there               is               no               chance               that               Peyton               Manning               is               going               to               let               his               Colts               fall               to               0-3               at               home.
               Prediction:               Indianapolis               by               14
               *Detroit               (0-4)               at               Minnesota               (2-3)
Detroit               made               some               changes               in-house,               but               its               not               going               to               be               enough               to               stop               Adrian               Peterson,               who               I               expect               to               have               a               break-out               game               of               near               180               yards.
               Prediction:               Minnesota               by               32
*Oakland               (1-3)               at               New               Orleans               (2-3)
After               the               Monday               night               faltering               of               the               New               Orleans               offense,               and               a               wasted               effort               by               Reggie               Bush,               I               expect               the               Saints               to               really               come               out               with               something               to               prove.
               Prediction:               New               Orleans               by               17
*Cincinnati               (0-5)               at               New               York               Jets               (2-2)
This               certainly               isn't               going               to               be               the               week               where               the               Bengals               get               their               first               win,               and               I               am               sure               that               Brett               Favre               is               licking               his               chops               looking               at               the               Bengals               secondary.
               Prediction:               New               York               by               22
               *Chicago               (3-2)               at               Atlanta               (3-2)
Atlanta               has               been               looking               pretty               strong               through               the               first               5               games,               and               running               back               Michael               Turner               is               tearing               apart               weak               line-backers.

I               think               however,               that               Chicago               holds               a               rude               surprise               waiting               for               them,               and               that               a               hard-fought               game               will               see               the               Bears               coming               out               on               top.
               Prediction:               Chicago               by               3
*Carolina               (4-1)               at               Tampa               Bay               (3-2)
Both               teams               run               with               a               tandem               at               running               back,               so               this               game               could               come               down               to               who               has               the               best               quarterback               going               for               them,               and               at               this               time               it               is               Jake               Delhome               with               his               1096               passing               yards.

I               expect               this               to               be               a               really               close               one,               but               a               late               Panther               stop               on               defense               will               give               Carolina               the               win.
               Prediction:               Carolina               by               6
               *St.

Louis               (0-4)               at               Washington               (4-1)
               St.

Louis               had               such               high-hopes               coming               into               this               season,               but               this               is               going               to               be               another               depressing               week               as               Washington               handles               them               easily               on               offense               as               well               as               defense.
               Prediction:               Washington               by               24
               *Miami               (2-2)               at               Houston               (0-4)
Miami               has               been               adequate               so               far,               but               this               is               the               week               where               the               Texans               surprise               everyone               and               win               their               first               game               of               the               season.

Expect               a               big               day               from               running               back               Steve               Slaton.
               Prediction:               Houston               by               3
               *Jacksonville               (2-3)               at               Denver               (4-1)
Denver               has               been               playing               some               very               good               football,               and               I               expect               that               to               continue               on               their               home               turf               this               Sunday.
               Prediction:               Denver               by               15
*Philadelphia               (2-3)               at               San               Francisco               (2-3)
Playing               in               the               toughest               division               in               the               NFL,               Philadelphia               is               much               better               than               their               record               dictates,               and               they               have               something               to               prove               in               San               Francisco               this               weekend.

I               believe               they               are               on               a               mission               this               Sunday,               and               will               give               San               Francisco               way               more               than               they               can               handle.
               Prediction:               Philadelphia               by               14
*Green               Bay               (2-3)               at               Seattle               (1-3)
Injuries               have               been               killing               Seattle,               but               this               team               is               too               good               to               lose               another               game               at               home.

With               the               Green               Bay               quarterback               situation               up               in               the               air,               I               think               Seattle               will               come               out               much               stronger,               and               with               the               blow-out               they               suffered               to               New               York               fresh               in               their               minds,               will               perform               much               better               than               expected.
               Prediction:               Seattle               by               12
               *Dallas               (4-1)               at               Arizona               (3-2)
Dallas               wants               respect,               and               in               order               to               get               it,               they               will               come               better               prepared               to               play               than               they               did               last               week.

I               expect               them               to               have               an               easy               time               with               Arizona.
               Prediction:               Dallas               by               17
*New               England               (3-1)               at               San               Diego               (2-3)               --Sunday               Night               Game--
Expect               San               Diego               to               right               the               ship               for               this               season,               and               to               win               a               hard               fought               battle               in               the               trenches               on               the               back               of               their               running               back.
               Prediction:               San               Diego               by               7
*New               York               Giants               (4-0)               at               Cleveland               (1-3)               --               Monday               Night               Game--
Though               Cleveland               will               make               this               game               much               closer               than               expected,               don't               expect               any               Monday               Night               surprises.
               Prediction:               Giants               by               10
